Every spring, Kalkaska hosts Taste of Trout, the mouthwatering highlight of the annual National Trout Festival. Local chefs dish up unique, delectable trout dishes--smoked trout nachos, trout bruchetta with sundried tomatoes, Cajun trout almondine--to a panel of judges and a hungry crowd of trout-lovers.
