Interlochen's 2008 Guitar Festival Workshop

Calling all ax-slingers: it's nearly time for Interlochen's annual Guitar Festival Workshop, a weekend of guitar celebration, education and entertainment.

The 2008 festival will take place August 21-23 on the beautiful wooded campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts. The festival's workshops will cover a range of interests, including classical, jazz, flamenco, rock, blues, song writing, world music, technique, Tai Chi, music business, recording, applied technology, reading skills, instrument construction and maintenance. Vendors will be on hand, selling music, instruction materials, instruments and gear; each day will conclude with an evening concert featuring guest artists and faculty.
