This August, the University of Michigan Biological Station is hosting events celebrating 100 years of research at the camp near Pellston. To share in the festivities, Traverse, Northern Michigan's Magazine is publishing a feature article about the camp in the August issue and is inviting people to share memories and thoughts about the camp on our website (see bottom of page). To get things started, we are publishing essays by staff and students who helped inventory the hundreds of species living at the University of Michigan Biological Station during a three-day event called a bio-blitz.
