Kayak. Canoe. Raft. Geocache. Clamber around a ropes course. Tie into a traction kite and bounce, fly and cruise mid-air above a meadow. The goal of the TRAILathlon at Shanty Creek Resort isn't winning--it's trying out gear, testing your mettle and exploring Up North's outdoors in ways you haven't before. Add to the event a rafting trip down the Jordan River, a sunrise paddle in the Grass River Natural Area, the Century Ride around Torch Lake, gear reps galore and more.
