National Trails Day Ride

Ride the North Central State Trail near Wolverine in honor of National Trails Day

Celebrate National Trail Day Saturday, June 6, with the North Central State Trail Ride. The Top of Michigan Trails Council is sponsoring this event for hobbyists, serious cyclists or anyone in between. The ride begins and ends at Lumberman’s Park in Wolverine, just west of I-75.

The day includes events, prizes, lunch and a vendor area, but the centerpiece is the ride itself. Explore the recently refinished North Central State Trail for a few miles or up to the trail’s full 60-mile length, and enjoy views of Sturgeon River and Mullet Lake.

Registration is $30, and starts at 8:30 a.m. the day of the ride, or register online at trailscouncil.com. Children in approved bike carriers may be registered for free.
