Northern Michigan Events: Head to Harbor Springs this weekend! Toe-tappin’ music, refreshing libation, and scrumptious cuisine grace the shoreline of this picturesque freshwater destination.
Stroll the streets and peruse the shops of quaint downtown Harbor Springs every Thursday evening. Why, you ask? Because every Thursday this summer, live music will breeze through the streets from many local musicians and bands. Tunes start up around 7:30 and last ‘til 9:30 p.m. There’s plenty of stuff for kids to do too, including face painting, magic shows, balloon animals and sidewalk chalk.
Waterfront Wine Festival
On Saturday, June 25, roll down to the waterfront and get in line for the Waterfront Wine Festival! Beginning at 4 and wrapping up around 7 p.m., the festival will feature approximately 14 Northern Michigan Wineries. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and include two free tastings and all the food you can eat. Wines from Bayside Beverage, Fabiano Brothers, Great Lakes Wine and Spirits, Harbor Springs Vineyards and Winery at Pond Hill Farm, Mercer Estates, L Mawby, Pleasantview Winery, Sand Hill Crane Vineyards, Shady Lane Cellars, and Woodberry Wines. Food vendors include American Spoon Foods, Crooked Tree Breadworks, Toski Sands Market and Wine Shop, Harbor Springs IGA, Glen’s North, Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars, Stafford’s Pier, Symons General Store, and Wooly Bugger.
