Let the tunes of the Old Friends- A Simon & Garfunkel Tribute transport you back to the 60’s and 70’s. From their comforting hit “Bridge Over Troubled Water” to the more upbeat “Mrs. Robinson”, by the concert’s end you’ll undoubtedly be singing along. Gates open at 6pm.
A parade just for kids? Only at the National Cherry Fest. Watch adorable kids from twenty-seven local elementary schools ride down Front Street on homemade, yet impressive, floats.
This year, the National Cherry Festival falls over the Fourth of July, but that doesn't mean Traverse City is consolidating two celebrations into one. A finale of fireworks is a Cherry Fest tradition, but this year sparks will be flying over West Bay two times. First to celebrate our great nation and again to applaud another superb festival. Make a night of it out on the Festival Open Space July 4th to enjoy food, music, and more as you watch fireworks light up the night sky.
