If you’re looking for fun in Northern Michigan, just sit tight right there—I’m Jenny Buechel with this week’s top picks from MyNorthTickets.com:
This and every other Saturday, Old Town Playhouse welcomes the Good On Paper comedy tour. They’re the only professional improv group in the area, and to date are the theatre’s longest running show. You can catch them at 11pm with complimentary coffee and donuts.
And all the holy rollers will be pleased with this Sunday’s performance at Interlochen where the Traverse Symphony Orchestra presents Guys and Dolls. Now I don’t want to rock the boat here (wink wink), but this all-American classic is one of the best in musical theatre. See it at 3pm at Corson Auditorium.
Then again, if you’re looking to get festive for the upcoming St. Patty’s Weekend, come on out to the InsideOut Gallery in Traverse City this Sunday. The show Life After Limerick presents the story of two Michigan natives who packed up and left for the Irish World Academy of traditional music and dance. It’s 90 minutes of Irish fare, and it all starts at 6pm.
You can grab the details and tickets for these three events and more at MyNorthTickets.com. Or if you’re thinking of selling your own, come chat with us at our contact page.
