Gander Mountain’s Gear Lending List for First Time Campers

All the goodies you’ll need for a good time in the great outdoors.

If you take advantage of the First Time Camper program—a sweet two-night, $20 deal—offered by Michigan State Parks and Gander Mountain, the outdoor store will lend you all the gear you need, free of charge, to ensure you have an enjoyable time.

Gear provided by Gander Mountain for each participating location:  

  • 1 tent
  • 1 tarp
  • 2 camp chairs
  • 1 flashlight
  • 1 lantern
  • 1 stove
  • 4 hot dog/marshmallow cookers
  • 2 fishing poles
