View more photos...Astronomy Days at Great Lakes Children's Museum in Traverse City includes fun hands-on activities to help kids learn about our solar system and beyond. Museum Educator Anne Drake leads activities such as "Solar System in Your Pocket," during which children will create a model of our solar system and gain an understanding of relative distance. Other activities include creating clay planets to discover their relative sizes, making a glow-in-the-dark constellation to take home and a color perception activity.
