Established in 1966 as a faculty in residence at Western Michigan University, School of Music, the Western Wind Quintet performs throughout the Midwest presenting recitals and clinics. They have performed at Carnegie Hall, where the New York press praised the quintet's commitment to the music and their innovative programming. Whether performing in recital or for an educational concert, the enthusiasm and skill demonstrated by the Western Wind Quintet is undeniable!
