Northern Michigan Wine: Dave and Ileana Habsburg-Snyder are excited to announce the opening of their two new wine tasting rooms in Suttons Bay, Michigan, Three Fires Wine and Skipping Stone Cellars. The Grand Opening of the side-by-side locations take place this Saturday, October 12th from 2pm to 6pm.
The tasting rooms are located side-by-side on M22 at Hilltop Road on the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula just south of Suttons Bay in the West Bayshore Village.
All of the house wines are made entirely from Michigan grapes. Guests can taste food-friendly wines made in the French style from Three Fires Wine. The tasting menu offers three balanced and complex white wines and four superb red wines made from classic European red vinifera varietals. For those who prefer lighter or sweeter wine, try Skipping Stone Cellars white and rose’ wines that range from dry to sweet.
Join the tasting room crew for special events offered throughout the year. Compare wines from various Michigan producers in a blind tasting event, or enjoy entertainment and competition at Kidnap Trivia or Murder Mystery.
