Northern Michigan Music: Expect another top notch season from Chamber Music North; the Traverse Symphony Orchestra brings dynamic talent to the stage; check out this potent folk music lineup at Cadillac's Gopherwood.
Chamber Music North is dedicated to presenting classical chamber music—the only group of its kind in the region. Performance and educational offerings continue to expand, including the Arcturos Concerts held at Leelanau County’s Black Star Farms. The fall schedule is yet to be determined, but expect another impressive lineup of performances. Chamber Music North also has found success with its Sundays at Three Series at the Dennos Museum (January–May) and Village Concert series held throughout the summer in Leland, Glen Arbor and Benzonia. Connecting aspiring classical musicians with notable performers is another important component of CMN. chambermusicnorth.com.
