An outreach project of Central Michigan University Public Television and the Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College, these free monthly films are shown at the museum beginning in October. Lively panel discussions follow each film. The screenings are offered in more than 65 cities throughout the U.S.
Held the first Thursday of each month, from October through May, these free showings take place in the Helena Township Community Building. Films start at 7 p.m., with a dinner social hour starting at 6 p.m. Bring a dish to pass if you wish, though it’s not required. Friends of the Alden District Library underwrite the series.
