About Caberfae Peaks

The folks at Caberfae had another busy summer: they have increased their snowmaking capacity by a total of 50 percent! With the addition of a new 300 horse power, 1000 gallon per minute vertical turbine snowmaking pump, the resort can now flow a total of 3000 gallons per minute. This should result in an earlier opening, more trails open earlier in the season, and the ability to more easily refresh their snow surfaces throughout the season! Caberfae Peaks has also acquired a few more snow guns, bringing the resort total to 108. Caberfae Peaks is also expanding their demo program, offering more skis and adding snowboards this season. As far as deals go, they are plentiful at the Peaks: College students ski for as little as $9 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Discounts for Ladies Day and Silver Streakers, that include lift tickets, rental equipment & lessons for as little as $15, or you can get a season pass for as little at $99, if purchased before Novembers 1st. If you missed the deadline, the price only goes up to $149. If a season pass is not for you, check out the Caberfae Peaks Punch Pass, where you can ski 4 times for only $49!

Signature Events

Springtime is the best time to ski, you get good snow conditions with warmer temps! During the third weekend in March at Caberfae Peaks, celebrate the spring skiing at the Spring Carnival, which offers a costume parade down the slopes, big air contest, silly slalom, music and an outdoor snowbar and grill.
