About Nub's Nob
Nub’s Nob, celebrating over 52 years of winter fun, picked up “Michigan’s Best Ski Resort” by Oakland Press’s 2008 Reader Survey and in 2007 was ranked No. 1 Terrain Park in the country and No. 4 in Grooming according to Ski Magazine. The resort isn’t resting on its laurels though. Last season it added the new Gray Lift to Pintail Peak, as well as twelve of Nub’s signature snow guns to its collection, making 262 guns total (all of which were invented and patented on the premises). Once again, Nub’s claims to offer the newest rentals in Northern Michigan with brand new snowboards, boots, and bindings added last season.
Signature Events
A family-oriented Mardi Gras celebration on March 21, featuring the Soaker Cup Challenge, Costume Contest, Crazy Couples, the Pepsi Challenge and live entertainment from performer Sean Ryan 3–6 p.m.
