The Homestead, a Northern Michigan resort, sits on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The Homestead offers lodging ranging from Fiddler's Pond, a resort hotel, Little Belle, a boutique hotel, Stony Brook Lodge, an all-suite property with water view and The Inn, a historic structure on the water. Lodging offers lake views, river views, waterfront, slope-side and more. Properties feature fireplaces, kitchens and high-speed internet. Privately owned condominiums and homes are also available for rent, however guests must reserve through the resort to have access to the resort's amenities. Lodging is located near downhill slopes and nordic ski trails. The Homestead sits in the heart of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and is located close to Leelanau County restaurants and shopping as well as Northern Michigan outdoor recreation.
