Leland Public School is following the yellow brick road, but not the one you are thinking! This version of the gilded path is played by four dancing ladies, and the rest of the story just gets funkier! MyNorth.com talks with Jeremy Evans and his students about this year's production of The Wiz, an urban take on The Wizard of Oz. Whether you are a bit short on brains, heart, or courage, we can all find a home in great musicals!

Leland's production of The Wiz runs May 1-3 and 8-10. Show times are at 7 p.m. and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. $8 adults; $5 students. Reserve tickets by calling 256-3815 or 256-9857 or purchase them at the box office.
