Northern Michigan Events: Local Food-Global Wine at Tuscan Bistro

Northern Michigan Events: Traverse, Northern Michigan's Magazine is once again tagging alongside Northern Michigan's new event series, Local Food, Global Wine. For the second of these culinary collaborations, Burritt's Market joins Traverse Magazine's food and wine editor Tim Tebeau at Tuscan Bistro in Traverse City for a Southern Italian Winemaker Dinner.

Traverse Magazine | is partnering with Tuscan Bistro and Burritt's Market on Thursday, February 16th for a special post-Valentine's dinner with Cecilia Naldoni, owner/winemaker at Grifalco in Southern Italy's Basilicata province. Cecilia and her husband, Fabrizio, specialize in crafting intense, world-class red wines from the indigenous Aglianico varietal. Cecilia's wines will be paired with a five course menu (see below) created by Tuscan Bistro chef/owner Mickey Cannon and offered for sale through Burritt's Market.
