Northern Michigan wine warriors? Yup, that’s how the minds behind the Detroit-based production group Red & White Entertainment see the wine producers of our Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas. During the last growing season Red & White rolled its cameras as the winemakers at four of our beloved Traverse City-area vineyards worked through the joys and travails of making wine in Northern Michigan.  Since every reality television shows needs the gamut of personalities, Red & White chose to star Larry Mawby (dry, bubbly humor, kinda’ like his wine),  Matt Gregory at Chateau de Leelanau (the beer and fishing-type winemaker), Taylor and Sam Simpson (young, hip) and Chateau Chantal (family enterprise that’s gone corporate) as their Northern Michigan wine warriors.

Red & White Entertainment is currently pitching its pilot, Wine Warriors, to national networks. Click to watch the trailer, then stay tuned for more about Wine Warriors on MyNorth.com.
