Michigan-based artists are invited by Cordia at Grand Traverse Commons to apply for artist residencies.

The Artists in Residence Program at Cordia is seeking four artists to work in exclusive, purpose-built studios at their Grand Traverse Commons campus.  Applications are currently being accepted for artists to begin in the autumn of 2014.

A studio will be made available to four artists for an initial term of twelve months with the possibility of renewal for additional one year terms.

While housing is not provided as part of this program, studio space is provided at no charge with the expectation that mentoring of and interaction with Cordia club members will be a required component, and formal classes in their art form will be offered to the members of the Club and to members of the greater Traverse City community within the Club setting.
