BAY HARBOR, MICHIGAN: Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar, the newest dining experience at The Inn at Bay Harbor – A Renaissance Golf Resort, is donating 15% of all food sales on Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, to benefit Bluestem Farm’s Help Others Eat Well Fund.
Bluestem Farm is a diversified, four-season farm located outside of East Jordan offering certified organic vegetables and pasture-raised eggs and meats. They launched the Help Others Eat Well Fund in 2014 to provide low-income families in northern Michigan access to nutritious foods.
“Committees of nurses at the Health Department of Northwest Michigan are in a unique position to see people who are falling between the cracks, so they choose the recipients” said Mary Brower, owner of Bluestem Farm along with her husband Aaron. “We raise the funds, grow the food, and hand out the shares to help those in need free of charge.”
In addition to their regular menu, Vintage Chophouse | Wine Bar will be serving specialty dining features highlighting produce from Bluestem Farm during the fundraising event.
Vintage serves lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and dinner nightly from 5:30 to 11 p.m.
