Are Northern Michigan tart cherries better than Ibuprofen for pain relief? An article in the Washington Post last week by national health reporter Lena H. Sun furthers the evidence that they are. Tart cherries, of which Michigan (and specifically Northern Michigan) is the largest producer, are significant pain relievers. Better yet, they also reduce inflammation and help repair damage to cells, organs and blood vessels.
