PETOSKEY: Sunland RV Resort announces the first of its kind luxury motorcoach golf resort. A partnership with Boyne Resorts, North America’s largest and most successful privately owned resort and leisure corporation, provides Petoskey Motorcoach Resort owners with exclusive golf club membership opportunities at Bay Harbor Golf Club and Country Club of Boyne with 13 nationally-recognized golf courses.

“No other motorcoach resort in the nation offers such an innovative program,” expresses Reza Paydar, President of Sunland RV Resorts. “We are thrilled to offer this country club-style component to our owners.” Sunland RV Resorts, a California-based motorcoach company, began discussing the details with Boyne Resorts over 12 months ago. “We have looked forward to making this announcement ever since,” Paydar adds.

“This partnership is a growth opportunity for Boyne’s award-winning courses and clubs, and we look forward to the exposure this offering will bring to Petoskey area,” explains Boyne Resorts Senior Vice President of Golf, Bernie Friedrich.

“With Sunland providing its Petoskey owners a one-year complimentary Social Membership to Country Club of Boyne, we are excited to welcome them and extend privileges such as member-only pricing at our spas, restaurants, and shops,” says Friedrich. Additionally, owners have the opportunity to join Bay Harbor Golf Club and participate in member-only tournaments, social events, plus access to 13 world-class golf courses. “Petoskey Motorcoach Resort is the only Class A motorcoach resort partnered with Boyne Resorts, offering the best four-season lifestyle and recreational experience,” Friedrich adds.

Through this partnership, Petoskey Motorcoach Resort is able to provide its owners reserved tee times on Bay Harbor Golf Club’s award-winning trio of courses—The Links, The Quarry, and The Preserve. A concierge service has been established to also assist owners with tee times at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs, Crooked Tree Golf Club in Petoskey, and Hidden River Golf & Casting Club in Brutus.

“Motorcoach owners with a full passion for golf may purchase an invitational golf membership,” explains Friedrich. “This level of membership affords owners unlimited golf, member-only tournaments, exclusive social events, resort discounts, and additional privileges.”

Created by Sunland RV Resorts, with properties in California and Florida, Petoskey Motorcoach Resort is Sunland’s tenth development, and the first of its kind in Michigan. The 20-acre gated community has just 78 sites.

“Our resorts draw a particular kind of motorcoach owner,” explains Paydar. “They expect the highest levels of both comfort and experience and are highly appreciative of the northern Michigan lifestyle. This country club-style ownership will surely attract high-end motorcoach owners with a passion for golf to the Petoskey area. We believe northern Michigan is an ideal destination for our existing Naples Motorcoach Resort owners and to the entire Midwest market,” Paydar adds.
