Let your voice heard! MyNorth Red Hot Best of Northern Michigan voting and nominating opens February 15th and runs through March 15th!
Old favorites return: burger, pizza, ski run and beer. Plus lots of new categories: bar to shoot pool, florist, river, mom and pop grocery, kids camp and Hemingway haunt.
Vote for the 2016 MyNorth Red Hot Best of Northern Michigan in all 101 categories or just a few.
Once you vote, make sure you share your favorites with friends, family, colleagues.
Year after year, the difference between the top winners in many categories is remarkably close–despite all the people voting!
If you don’t see your favorite nominated again this year, you can write in your nomination. It takes a day or two for those write-in nominations to show up on the ballot. We hand review and approve all the nominations–so there’s no monkey business! Rest assured all those write-ins get counted!
If you see an error on the ballot, like a duplication or nomination in the wrong category, please use our Contact Us page to let us know. And thanks for helping out!
One vote per email address, please. Also, you’ll want to pay attention to the nomination requirements in the parentheses. For example, we’ll need the name of your favorite bartender and where he or she works. Like the desserts at your local bistro? Be sure to name one specific dessert like carrot cake or creme brûlée in addition to the restaurant name. Same is true for a sandwich; name a specific sandwich and sandwich shop in your nomination.
We’ll tally the Red Hot Best results and share the top of each category in our 2016 June issue of Traverse, Northern Michigan’s Magazine.
