Boyne City History AppDowntown Boyne City is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With this app, you’ll be able to take a self-guided audio stroll through Boyne City’s history, and return to an era when it was an industrial boom town with lumber mills, commercial shipping, manufacturing and its own railroad.

Fifty-two historic locations are highlighted in the app’s tour of the region’s rich and colorful past. You will get a complete history of each building within the historic district.

The next phase of the Boyne City historical walking tour app will be released this summer, and will include residential areas, churches and parks.

In addition to the app for smart phones and tablets, a printed brochure is available, as well as online content with photos, narrative and audio options.
