Celebrate Northern Michigan food and drink at the 8th annual Traverse City Wine and Art Festival on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 4 to 9 pm, at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Get a true taste of the region with more than 100 local wines and fresh fare delights created with local ingredients.

Take a varietal (i.e. Pinot Noir or Chardonnay) tour while walking around the festival with a host of renowned winemakers. Other tours allow you to pair fresh wines with special treats, including Morsel’s Dessert and Wine Pairing Tour and The Cheese Lady Cheese and Wine Pairing Tour. Sessions at the Wine Education Lounge are also available for signup.

Art, jewelry and pottery will be available for purchase from local Michigan artists. The featured exhibit showcases Stephanie Schlatter’s Project 24, a series of paintings of Northern Michigan vineyards and wineries. There will also be a sneak peek at next year’s exhibit: John Roberts Williams’ Project 26, a photograph gallery of winemakers in the Leelanau Peninsula.

Live music will play throughout the evening with performances by Phillip-Michael Scales, Blake Elliott and the Robinson Affair, Carsie Blanton and the Roomsounds.

Tickets cost $55 and include eight wine tasting tickets, a food voucher and a souvenir wine glass. Come experience one of Traverse City’s best cultural events!
