The Third Annual Sweaty Yeti Run presented by EJ will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 8 a.m. at the Boswell Stadium in East Jordan, Michigan. This event includes a professionally timed 5K and one-mile event. All levels are welcome!

Join the Yeti at this fun event organized by family and friends to remember Christie Galvin and Kellie Barber. Proceeds will benefit the Barber-Galvin Memorial Scholarship Fund, established to award an annual scholarship to an East Jordan graduating senior who exudes perseverance, positivity, fortitude, and continual encouragement of others.
The Sweaty Yeti welcomes the whole family—participants of all ages can run, walk or dance their way across the finish line. The event includes a 5K, timed by Runners Edge Timing Company, and an untimed Family Fun Mile Run/Walk. Prizes will be awarded to the top female and male finishers in the 5K, as well as the top three by age group. The 5K will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the Family Fun Mile at 9:15 a.m. Awards will be presented after the Family Fun Mile.
After the race, check out the South Arm Classics Car and Boat Show and Micro Brew Fest in Down Town East Jordan! We hope to see you at the Sweaty Yeti!!!
Registration for both events is available online at www.sweatyyetirun.com until July 6. You can also download a registration form or register the morning of the event. If you cannot attend, we even have a Virtual Run option!!
The Barber-Galvin Memorial Scholarship Fund is a 501c3 nonprofit, established to honor the memory of Christie Galvin and Kellie Barber.
