Join Golden-Fowler Home Furnishings in Traverse City for a golden evening of style, color and comfort to benefit Child & Family Services of Northwestern Michigan at the seventh annual Celebrity DreamRoom Classic on February 9!
One unique aspect of the Celebrity DreamRoom Classic is the friendly competition between five talented celebrities who team up with their respective designers at Golden-Fowler to create “the room of their dreams.” Anything goes, and when the creative spaces are complete, the public is invited into the furniture store to vote on each room’s popularity. The value of each vote is $1, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Child and Family Services. In 2017, the event raised over $30,000 with more than 400 people in attendance. The 2018 fundraising goal for the Celebrity DreamRoom Classic is set at $40,000.
“This year’s contestants represent a wide variety of celebrated people who contribute to our community in many ways,” says Mike Mahn, owner of Golden-Fowler Home Furnishings. “Each of our celebrities has extraordinary talent and a genuine history of placing others ahead of themselves. This year’s Celebrity DreamRoom Classic will be our best.”

Here’s how it works: Attendees visit each “DreamRoom” and cast votes for their favorite room (or rooms). Votes are $1 each—vote early and often! The celebrity with the most votes at the end of the night wins!

The 2018 Celebrity DreamRoom Classic will include food from many of the area’s finest restaurants, wine from Black Star Farms, and beer from Right Brain Brewery. Each DreamRoom will feature live music along with a giant silent auction packed full of exciting items!
