May 24-26 | Warblers on the Water
Bring your binoculars, board The Emerald Isle ferry, and hop on over to Beaver Island for a weekend of birding field-trips, ornithology presentations, and great company. Presentations are free and open to the public. Here’s the Warblers on the Water schedule.
May 24-26 | Cherry Capital Comic Con
Celebrating 10 years, Cherry Capital Comic Con C4 is Northern Michigan’s largest comic book and pop entertainment expo. Located at the scenic Grand Traverse Resort, C4 is an exciting gathering of comic book creators, exhibitors, and fans. Tickets will be available soon!
May 25 | Whiskey & Wine: Spring into Summer
The best of both barrels! Join us for an exclusive experience at Traverse City Whiskey Co., Left Foot Charley, and Rove Estate including tours, barrel tastings, and expertly paired snacks. Transportation will be provided by the TC Whiskey Shuttle. Tickets are available at MyNorthTickets.com, cost $45 per person, $80 per couple.
May 25 | Michigan Beer & Brat Festival
Kick off the summer with this Memorial Day weekend tradition at Crystal Mountain. Enjoy live entertainment while sampling an enormous selection of Michigan’s finest microbrews, local hard cider, mead, wine and gourmet brats from northwest Michigan markets. Tickets are available at MyNorthTickets.com. General admission is $30, VIP is available for $60 per person.
May 26 | Sundance party – a sundress affair
Kick off the summer in style at the Parlor for the 2019 Sundance Party, a Sundress Affair. 2Bays DJs will be flipping the Northern Express Room into Traverse City’s hottest dance club. Complimentary glass of champagne upon entry and drink specials all night long. Tickets are available at MyNorthTickets.com. General Admisison is $10, Table Service is $250.
May 25 | Northport Cars in the Park
Northport Cars in the Park has been held annually on Memorial Day weekend since 1998. The show opens at 10 a.m. and awards are at 3 p.m. Spectators get in free! Located at Haserot Park in Northport.
May 25 | Stafford’s Top of Michigan Marathon
In addition to the marathon, the event includes a half marathon, 10k run/walk event, and two 5k run/walk events. Online registration ends May 22.
May 25 | Bayshore Marathon
Each of the races is currently on a waiting list, sign up for your chance to run in the marathon, half marathon, or 10k.
May 26 | SECOND Annual Taste of Bay Harbor
Journey to the beautiful Village at Bay Harbor for a delicious event celebrating the best local cuisine. Enjoy sampling specialties from all Bay Harbor eating establishments in the Tasting Tent on the lawn, or participate in the VIP Tour and visit four locations within Bay Harbor, including a private yacht at the Bay Harbor Marina, for VIP Taste and Gourmet Cooking Demonstrations.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Military Veterans in Emmet and Charlevoix Counties, and will assist in providing essential services to Veterans in need.
