The Charlevoix Historical Society will present a fully illustrated program on Charlevoix’s pioneering photographers, from their origins in the late 1850s through to the turn of the 20th century. Ole Lyngklip, guest curator of the Society’s current exhibit 150 Years of Photography in Charlevoix at the Museum at Harsha House, will be the presenter. The program will focus on the careers of four of Charlevoix’s most distinguished professional artists of the late 19th century, tracing their partnerships, rivalries, influences, and lasting legacies.
