2019 New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center Artist Winner Announced
The artwork by Sheridan Elementary fourth grade student Henry Burris has been selected from Crooked Tree Arts Center’s recent call for student art, and will be featured at the upcoming New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center.
Henry’s artwork will be used for promotional materials, t-shirts, and admission buttons. Admission buttons for the twelfth annual family-friendly New Year’s Eve event are for sale now at Crooked Tree Arts Center and online at MyNorth.com. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center is an all-ages, alcohol-free celebration featuring performances and workshops by Crooked Tree Arts Center instructors, area artists, and organizations, including Blissfest Music Organization and Petoskey District Library. The evening concludes with a “Midnight at 9,” Times-Square style ball drop on East Mitchell Street. The outdoor festivities begin at 8:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
CTAC will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 21 through Thursday, January 3, but open from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, December 31 for New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center. During CTAC’s holiday break, admission buttons for the event will be available for purchase at the Petoskey District Library, as well as online at www.crookedtree.org.
