Talking all things WATER
With help from the Michigan Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities, Raven Hill is hosting two “Third Coast Conversations” that will focus on Water. Conversations are scheduled for June 1st and 15th from 4pm to 5pm at Raven Hill and the community is invited.
The informal talks will focus on water as our “place”. The goal is to explore and talk reflectively, sharing different ideas about how this exceptional “place” lives in us—how our special “place” changes us and how we change/preserve our unique “place” through community issues. The big question is: what does it mean to be from our particular “place”—for you as an individual and for us as a community? What parts of our “place” make us what we are, and how can we change and preserve the features of this “place”?
An exhibit titled: Talking all things WATER will be on display from June 1st to June 21st. Any environmental organization interested in displaying information about their mission is invited to create a small display. Email Cheri for simple panel formatting requirements. Call Cheri at 231.536.3369 or email [email protected] for more information on the Third Coast Conversations or on creating a panel display.
