As one of the 20th century’s most influential creative forces, Andy Warhol left an indelible mark on contemporary art, music, and popular culture. A selection of his work is now on display at Traverse City’s Dennos Museum until April 5th. The exhibit features 7 original screen prints—dating from 1970-1986—by the American artist. MyNorth videographer Kris Riley visited the museum to chat with Jason Dake, the Curator of Education at Dennos, about their new exhibit, and how such a small institution managed to showcase Warhol’s work, which can sell for millions of dollars at auction.
